You can change the video quality under settings in the bottom right corner. You can also jump between chapters to find what you're looking for.
Employees, Groups, and Positions views
There are three different views in the updated Schedule: Employees, Groups, and Positions. You can work in the view that suits you best.
When you switch between views, the information on the left side of the Schedule updates automatically, which includes hours and costs, if you have Payroll costs turned on under the Show menu.
Move and copy shifts using drag and drop
To move a shift, drag and drop it where you want. This can be done in any of the three views: Employees, Groups, and Positions.
To copy a shift, hold down the Crtl key on Windows, or the Cmd key on Mac, and drag and drop the shift to where you want to copy it. This can be done both when working on your schedule and with templates.
With the new Schedule, we've introduced the Month view. In this view, you can use different schedule views, filters, shift status, and shift type to display the information you're looking for. As you make changes to your selection, the information displayed updates immediately.
Create Sections and Positions from inside your schedule
You can now manage your Sections and Positions from inside the Schedule. From the Positions view, you can add Positions and Sections, edit existing ones, as well as move them using drag and drop. For more on Sections and Positions, check out this article.
Quickly copy an existing week to an empty week using Copy week. You can find the feature under the Templates menu when you're in the Schedule, and when you're looking at a single week.
Save your schedule as a template
We have received a lot of requests for the option to save existing schedules as templates. We're happy to say that the new Schedule has this feature! From the Schedule, click the Templates menu and choose Save as template. To access the template, go to Edit template under the Templates menu.
The Templates editor now sits inside the Schedule, so you can work in the same way within both schedules and templates. Also, you can now switch views when working with templates. More on the Templates editor here.
Design update to the People section
The People section has a fresh new look! You can now create Departments and Employee groups from People > Employees.
Custom view of employees
From People > Employees you can use Employee details in the top right corner to customize the information you see in the employee overview.
Quick edit employees
From People > Employees you now have access to editing what Departments and Employee groups an employee is assigned to from the quick edit view. To get access to all details, click the edit button at the bottom of the quick edit window.
