There's someone I cannot assign to a shift. Why?

  • Check which employee group is linked to this position: Go to Settings > Schedule > Positions.

  • Check if the employee you want to assign is a member of that employee group. Go to People > Employees > Edit Employee > Groups & Wages to see which groups he’s in and add him to more groups if necessary.

  • If the employee is a member of the group, but you are still not able to add him to a shift, you can check whether the employee is assigned to the right department (also in the Grousp & Wages tab).

If you are still not able to select the right employee, the reason could be that the employee was deactivated.
