How do I create an employee contract?

1: Go to People > Contracts > Create contract

Then select the employee and their employee group. If the employee is connected to more than one employee group, simply select their primary group.

Select the contract template and the issue date.
If you haven't uploaded a template yet, please refer to this article for assistance.

Select the contact person and click Next.

 

2: Look over the contract and click save

3: Select ”Manually” if you just want to print out the contract and handle the rest of the process on paper.

Select ”Electronically” if you want to handle it digitally through the Planday system.

 

4: Sign the contract and click ”Sign and send to employee”

 

5: The contract has now been sent to the employee for them to sign. You can see it under People > Contracts > Awaiting action

You will be notified as soon as the employee has either signed or rejected the contract.
